Purchase choices cover a range of genres from rock, pop and soul to hip-hop and electronica, while there will also be DJ sets and other music-related activities.

Tommy Genesis | Athens | May 27

Self-proclaimed "fetish rapper" Tommy Genesis, a Vancouver-born hip-hop artist best known for her outspoken and often explicit manner and lyrics, will perform at the Six Dogs venue in Athens on Saturday, May 27. The show starts at 9 p.m. and admission costs 10 euros.

Initiated in old-school hip-hop and rap, Bristol-based DJ act The Allergies have expanded the genres to more contemporary sounds with a vintage feel, creating a blend with funk, soul, disco and breakbeat elements. The British duo will be in Athens for one night only, at Gazarte, on Thursday, April 27, for a free show.

'Hollyweed:' Prankster alters LA's landmark sign

The iconic hillside sign overlooking Southern California's film-and-television hub was defaced overnight in honor of marijuana. 

Residents awoke on Jan. 1 to find "Hollyweed" staring down at them in four-story, white letters from Los Angeles' Mount Lee, where a version of the picture-ready "Hollywood" sign was first erected in 1923. 

Snoop Dogg Error Brings Romanian Village Fame

The remote village of Bogata in Romania has become an internet sensation after US rapper Snoop Dogg, who was on tour in Bogota, Colombia, posted a selfie on Instagram but checked in the Romanian hamlet instead by mistake.

Thousands of followers started to ironically congratulate the US artist on choosing to visit Bogata, Romania.
