A male teacher has been detained by police after allegedly taking photos under two girls? skirts on the street through a tiny machine placed on his shoe, in the western coastal province of ?zmir.

Russia informed Turkey about airstrike in Syria
Russia has informed Turkey about the airstrike launched in Syria on Sept. 30, a Russian Embassy official has stated.
"Today we informed the Turkish authorities about the military operation," Russian Embassy spokesperson Igor Mityakov told the Hürriyet Daily News, adding that notification was made through the embassy in Ankara.

Syrian migrants bidding to cross to Europe have been camping and waiting for 10 days in Edirne, but have been told by the authorities to leave the city.

Turkish man dies after staying in Bursa hospital for 47 years
A man who was allowed to stay at a hospital in Turkey's western province of Bursa for 47 years "because he got along well with hospital personnel" has died at the age of 70 at the same hospital.
Abdullah Kozan, 70, died in Muradiye State Hospital on Sept. 25 in his room, where he had stayed for the previous 47 years.

My grandfather also died in the hajj
My grandfather died in the hajj pilgrimage. Not now. It must have been sometime around 1927. My mother was a toddler back then, born in 1926. My uncle was a baby. My grandmother was probably in her late 20s. My mother and my uncle never got to know their father. My grandmother had to raise two children herself after her husband did not come back from the hajj.
