Stormy cold front to slide through Greece on weekend
Temperatures will plummet from Saturday along the northern and mountainous regions of the country, the National Meteorological Service (EMY) has said.
The weekend cold front will be accompanied by stormy northerly gales in the Aegean, reaching force eight or nine, with significant rainfall expected along coastal areas.

Torrential rains, storms expected across country

Municipalities sign MoU with wildlife NGO

Romanian Heritage Police Recover ‘Unique’ Lost Viking Helmet
Romanian police specialising in heritage crimes on February 7 recovered a medieval helmet "of Viking origin" that disappeared a decade ago, and which they called "unique in Romania" and very rare in the rest of Europe in an announcement issued on Friday.
A Romanian expert in historical illustration, Radu Oltean, said the helmet dated from the 11th century.
