Israeli military has launched air strikes against militant targets in the Gaza Strip
The Israeli army announced this morning that in response to the shelling from the Gaza Strip on Israel, it fired 130 targets in the Palestinian territory that belong to Hamas. At least 15 members of Palestinian armed groups have been killed in the Gaza Strip.
Violence in Israel Escalates as Israeli Military Kill Dozens in Gaza Air Strike
The violence escalated on Monday night after Palestinian militants fired rockets toward Jerusalem.
In response, the Israeli military launched air strikes against militant targets in the Gaza Strip.
"Red line has been crossed"
He announced a sharp response.
"We will not tolerate attacks on our territory, on our capital, our citizens and soldiers. Whoever attacks us will pay dearly," Netanyahu pointed out, AP reports.
He stated that the fights will continue for some time.

Hamas has claimed responsibility for the rocket attack. No casualties or damage were reported.
The Israeli parliament was evacuated after the rocketing, and along the border with Gaza, Israel strengthened its forces.

Turkey on April 16 called on Israel to cease its aggressive policies against Palestinians.
A statement by the Foreign Ministry said that such policies damage peace and stability in the region, adding: "It is worrying that Israel's policies of oppression and violence against the Palestinians escalated during Ramadan."

After the ceasefire agreement - sirens sounded again
An Egyptian source and a senior Islamic Jihad official told AFP that a ceasefire came into effect early on Thursday.
The "ceasefire agreement comes as a result of Egypt's efforts" and has been endorsed by "Palestinian factions including Islamic Jihad", said the top Egyptian official.
An Islamic Jihad source confirmed the agreement to AFP.

Turkey 'strongly' condemns Israeli attacks in Gaza
