BELGRADE - Serbian President Aleksandar Vucic has received a New Year greeting card from UAE President Sheikh Mohammed bin Zayed Al Nahyan.

Al Nahyan wished much health and happiness to Vucic and further progress and prosperity to the friendly people of Serbia in 2024.

NEW YORK - Serbian President Aleksandar Vucic spoke with UAE FM Sheikh Abdullah bin Zayed Al Nahyan in New York to discuss the main issues on the agenda of the 78th UN General Assembly session and inform him in detail of the violence against Serbs in Kosovo-Metohija.

Vucic was attending a reception hosted by Al Nahyan on occasion of the session.

"The President of the UAE, His Highness Sheikh Mohammed bin Zayed Al Nahyan, mourns his brother, Sheikh Saeed bin Zayed Al Nahyan, the representative of the Ruler of Abu Dhabi.
Sheikh Saeed, who was suffering from health problems, passed away today," the official statement said.
