Parliament Speaker Numan Kurtulmuş has inaugurated a branch of Türkiye's leading defense company, Aselsan, in the United Arab Emirates (UAE).

BELGRADE - Serbian President Aleksandar Vucic has received a New Year greeting card from UAE President Sheikh Mohammed bin Zayed Al Nahyan.

Al Nahyan wished much health and happiness to Vucic and further progress and prosperity to the friendly people of Serbia in 2024.

DUBAI - Serbian President Aleksandar Vucic met with UAE President Sheikh Mohammed bin Zayed Al Nahyan during the COP28 climate summit in Dubai on Friday and noted that Serbia was a small country, but that it knew how to appreciate its great friends.

BELGRADE - Serbian President Aleksandar Vucic said on Friday after meeting with Hungarian PM Viktor Orban and the UAE presidential envoy, Crown Prince of Abu Dhabi Khaled bin Mohamed bin Zayed Al Nahyan, he believed the meeting and its results were good.

The trilateral meeting was also attended by Hungarian and UAE delegations.

NEW YORK - Serbian President Aleksandar Vucic spoke with UAE FM Sheikh Abdullah bin Zayed Al Nahyan in New York to discuss the main issues on the agenda of the 78th UN General Assembly session and inform him in detail of the violence against Serbs in Kosovo-Metohija.

Vucic was attending a reception hosted by Al Nahyan on occasion of the session.

"The President of the UAE, His Highness Sheikh Mohammed bin Zayed Al Nahyan, mourns his brother, Sheikh Saeed bin Zayed Al Nahyan, the representative of the Ruler of Abu Dhabi.
Sheikh Saeed, who was suffering from health problems, passed away today," the official statement said.

Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdoğan spoke by phone with the leaders of 8 countries on the occasion of Eid al-Adha on July 9. 

High Representative of the European Union for Foreign Affairs and Security Policy, Josep Borrell, congratulated President Aleksandar Vui on his victory in the presidential elections held on April 3.

European Parliament Rapporteur for Serbia, Vladimr Bilk, also congratulated President Vucic on re-election.
