The Bosnian state court in Sarajevo ruled on Tuesday that it had not been proved beyond reasonable doubt that Senad Gadzo, Zaim Lalicic and Suljo Hebib, all wartime members of the Fourth Brigade of the Bosnian Army, participated in the beating and killing of Serb civilians who were detained in the Hrasnica area in 1992 and 1994.

Belgrade Higher Court on Monday sentenced Husein Mujanovic, the commander of a military prison in Hrasnica near Sarajevo during the Bosnian war, to ten years of prison for the abuse of Bosnian Serb inmates in 1992.

Bosnia's State Investigation and Protection Agency, SIPA, said in a statement that it had arrested five people suspected of the murder of at least eight civilians and the unlawful detention, torture and abuse of more than 100 between 1992 and 1994.

Two former Bosnian Army members arrested for war crimes

SARAJEVO -- A former member of the Army of Bosnia-Herzegovina (BiH) has been arrested on suspicion that he committed war crimes against Serb civilians.

SARAJEVO - Bosnia and Herzegovina's State Investigation and Protection Agency (SIPA) has arrested Bosnia and Herzegovina national Zaim Lalicic in Sarajevo's Ilidza district on orders from the prosecutor's office on suspicion of a war crime against Serb civilians in Hrasnica in 1992 and 1993.
