French model Ines Rau has become the first openly transgender Playmate in
Playboy magazine’s 64-year history.
Rau, 26, first appeared in a May 2014 issue, shot by fame photographer Ryan McGinley. “It’s how I celebrated my coming out, actually,” she says in the new issue. “I took that chance, and then I signed with an agency.”

Playboy Founder Hugh Hefner dies from natural causes at his mansion in Los Angeles. Playboy Enterprises released a statement that Playboy founder Hugh Hefner peacefully passed away on Wednesday night at the age of 91 surrounded by his family.

Pamela Anderson, aged 48, will be the Playboy centerfold to end all nude Playboy centerfolds. The first nude was with Marilyn Monroe in 1953. Now Anderson, who has appeared nude for the magazine a record 13 times will be the last cover girl to not cover up.

She says that she was chuffed to get a call from Hugh Hefner’s attorney who said: “We don’t want anybody else!”

Don’t get me wrong. Twelve-year-old me is very disappointed in current me. But it’s the right thing to do.”
