Parliament meeting over energy relief package
Ljubljana – The National Assembly will convene a two-day emergency session on Monday to take a decision on the government package to mitigate the impact of high energy prices on households and businesses. It will also decide whether to ban a referendum on Boxer APCs.

Birdwatcher captures photos of birds on railways
Birdwatcher Mustafa Erturhan, who has been working in the Turkish Railways (TCDD) for 30 years, has been photographing birds on rails during road maintenance works.
Revealing the relationship between birds and rails, Erturhan has so far photographed 21 bird species in 15 years and created a special series called the "Nature of Railway and Birds."

Almost 750,000 e-vignettes sold so far
Ljubljana – Slovenia having switched to e-vignettes on 1 February, the motorway company DARS has so far sold 748,800 e-vignettes, 91% of them annual. It has checked more than 100,000 vehicles to find over 5,000 suspected violations. In 1,356 of them the suspicion has been confirmed and the rest are yet to be checked.
