Private jet traffic is projected to rise 50% this year
A private jet landed or took off from the largest Greek airports every 20 minutes in the summer of 2022, according to estimates, as Civil Aviation Authority data show that such flights totaled almost 16,500 last year.
Meanwhile, for this year a 50% increase in this kind of air traffic is expected.

Supermarket turnover expands 8.2% in Q1
Supermarket turnover grew 8.2% in the first quarter of 2023 compared with the same period in 2022, NielsenIQ said in a report released on Friday.
The report attributed this positive development to an 8.1% rise in fresh food and an 8.2% increase in packaged food and beverage. The personal care category recorded a 7.6% increase in turnover while house products grew 12.1%.

Amsterdam airport to ban private jets, night flights
Amsterdam's Schiphol Airport has said that it would stop night flights and bar private jets in a bid to cut greenhouse gas emissions and noise pollution.
Aircraft will be banned from taking off between midnight and 6 a.m. and will not be allowed to land before 5 a.m., Royal Schiphol Group chief executive Ruud Sondag said in a statement.
