Economic model helps limit exchange rate volatility: Nebati
Türkiye's economic model helps limit the effects of the volatility in exchange rate, Treasury and Finance Minister Nureddin Nebati has said.
The Türkiye Economic Model supports exports by adopting the value-added production approach, he added.
"With this mode, the impacts of exchange rate volatility, which is occasionally experienced, is limited," Nebati wrote on Twitter.

The Bosphorus is closed because a cargo ship with Ukrainian grain got stuck
The Bosphorus Strait is closed to vessels in both directions because of a stuck cargo ship carrying grain from Ukraine to Italy. This was announced by the Turkish Coast Guard Directorate.

Istanbul to host second 24-hour cycling competition in September
BoostRace, a 24-hour-long cycling competition, will take place for the second time in Istanbul on Sept. 17 and 18, the organizers have announced.
The cycling teams will race, relax, sleep and feed at the same time of the day and night in Intercity Istanbul Park.

Istanbul named among world’s best cities in 2022
A U.K.-based culture magazine has picked the world's best 53 cities, ranking Türkiye's largest city Istanbul in the list.
Out of the 53 ranked cities chosen by the Time Out magazine, Edinburgh made it to the top of the list and was followed by Chicago and Medellin, while Istanbul was listed 50th.
