Council of Europe (CoE) Commissioner for Human Rights Nils Muiznieks has criticized European countries' handling of the migrant crisis as "disastrous."

The Time magazine gathered the photos marked the 2015, a year which has been dominated by the migrant and refugee crisis in Europe.
Therefore, many photos of the collection are from war zones of Iraq, Syria and Afghanistan, as well as from Greece, Croatia and Hungary, which received thousands of refugees.
