Qantas lets female cabin crew ditch high heels
Australia's national airline announced on June 9 that it will scrap its gender-based uniform guidelines, allowing male cabin crew to wear make-up and giving women the option to ditch high heels.
Qantas said it had overhauled its guidelines to better reflect modern expectations, and to make uniforms more comfortable for staff from "diverse cultural backgrounds."

Why hold a third election in August?
"We lack a culture of collaboration." Unfortunately, this phrase is repeated in Greece as an unquestionable truth. And since we ostensibly lack this culture, we find ourselves resorting to holding elections repeatedly until we can establish a majority government.

Member States agreed on "Fair Distribution" of Refugees and Migrants in the EU
European Union countries have reached a long-delayed agreement on a fair distribution of refugees and migrants. The decision was reached last night in Luxembourg by interior ministers.
The reform is in two directions - on the one hand with the countries under pressure, and on the other - an accelerated procedure for some of the migrants' applications.
Sabancı Museum invites Yoga lovers
Organized by the Sakıp Sabancı Museum in collaboration with Cihangir Yoga, Müzede Yoga (Yoga in the Museum) celebrates its 10th anniversary on June 10 with an all-day program. Chief Prosecutor Ivan Geshev submitted to the registry of the 49th National Assembly a request to lift the immunity of two deputies from the pro-Russian "Vazrazhdane" party - Angel Georgiev and Veselin Veshev, announced the prosecutor's office.
The initials in the press release of the two people's representatives are V.V. and A.G., responding specifically to Georgiev and Veshev.
