Police find nothing suspicious in Athens school after security alert
Police in Athens said on Thursday they found nothing suspicious in a sweep of a private school after receiving reports that two individuals had entered the school's premises holding sharp objects.
Police officers had rushed to Athens College, a co-educational private school in the northern suburb of Psychiko, after the alarm was raised by a school security officer.
Explosives, weapons seized
Seven suspects who, according to some reports, are members of anti-establishment groups, were arrested on Wednesday in the western port city of Patra and charged with the possession of weapons and explosives.
More specifically, a raid of one of the houses yielded two pistols, 230 grams of explosives and a detonator, while four hydroponic cannabis units were also identified.

Police identify possible suspects in 2019 safe burglary
Police in Thessaloniki announced on Monday that they had cracked the case of a robbery that occurred in November 2019 involving the theft of a safe from an apartment in the city center, which, according to the 64-year-old owner, contained money and jewelry worth more than 190,000 euros.

The perpetrators, who appeared around 9.45 p.m., had covered their faces and were holding guns.
After the robbery they fled on foot.

Armed robbery in Peristeri patisserie

Fraudsters cheat elderly women out of 150,000 euros
