Two Ljubljana hotels rebranded as Ibis Styles hotels

In partnership with the hotel chain Accor, Mogotel Hotel Group has launched its first two Ibis Styles hotels in Slovenia by rebranding Hotel Central and The Fuzzy Log in Ljubljana's city centre.

The largest hotel operator in the Baltic countries, Mogotel Hotel Group leased the two Ljubljana hotels in summer last year for 20 years for a combined €12 million.

Number of bald ibises continues to increase

The endangered generations of northern bald ibises are protected by serious measures as a result of the works carried out by the General Directorate of Nature Conservation and National Parks.

The works started in 1977 with two adults and nine young birds gave results and today the number of bald ibis is 244 in Birecik district of in the southeastern province of Şanlıurfa.

Bald ibises to have new homes

New shelters are being searched for bald ibises, which live only in the southeastern province of Şanlıurfa's Birecik district in Turkey, in a bid to take them under protection as they are at risk of extinction. 

Works have been carried out in the Bald Ibis Reproduction Station, established by the Forestry and Water Affairs Ministry in 1977 for the reproduction of these birds. 

War in Syria prevents bird migration

A number of critically endangered northern bald ibises, considered a "symbol of abundance" in the southeastern province of ?anl?urfa, are waiting for the war in Syria to end before they migrate. 

The Bald ?bis Reproduction Center, which was established in 1977 in the city's Birecik district, carries out efforts to allow these birds to survive and reproduce.
