Montenegro’s parliament is to debate a law on the status of NATO forces in an emergency plenary session this week, starting June 18.
BELGRADE - Serbian Foreign Minister Ivica Dacic and his Montenegrin counterpart Igor Luksic said on Tuesday that the two countries should focus on the search for mutual interests, including European integration and economic cooperation, and thus improve their relations which are now far much better than several years ago.
"No open issues" between Montenegro and Serbia
BELGRADE -- Montenegro's new Ambassador to Belgrade Branislav Mićunović presented on Monday his letter of credence to Serbian President Tomislav Nikolić.
The diplomat stated that there were "no standing issues between the two countries" and that their mutual relations were "continuously improving."
The Foreign Ministers of Montenegro and Serbia, Igor Luksic and Ivica Dacic, will meet in Belgrade on Tuesday to discuss establishing joint embassies on the so-called Nordic model.
“Luksic will to Belgrade and we will try to solve it," Dacic said, according to Serbian media reports on Monday.
