Bulgarian authorities caught 30 Illegal Migrants at the entrance to Sofia

A van with illegal migrants was stopped on "Trakia" highway at the entrance of Sofia to the ring road.

When stopped for inspection, about 30 men, foreign citizens, without documents were found in it. They are in good condition, as they claim to be citizens of Afghanistan, it became clear from information of "Focus" from the Sofia Police.

Authorities apprehend suspect connected to migrant confinement video

The Greek authorities have apprehended an individual in connection with a disturbing video posted on social media on Tuesday. The video depicted a man confining a group of 13 undocumented migrants within a cargo trailer, which was being towed by a 4WD vehicle, near the town of Alexandroupoli in northern Greece.

A bus with illegal migrants was detained in the center of Sofia. Nearly 20 people were in it. Police teams are on the scene. Three ambulances arrived. Some of the migrants are unconscious.

The bus has a foreign registration and right-hand drive.

According to unconfirmed information, the driver fled the scene.

Bulgarians are being Investigated for Trafficking Illegal Migrants in Croatia

Croatian police are investigating a total of 11 people for illegal trafficking of 117 migrants in Karlovac County, Croatia. Authorities say there were six separate incidents between last Thursday and Monday. Bulgarians are also among the suspects, BTA reported.

Bulgaria: 12 Migrants were Detained in a Village near Karlovo

The police in Karlovo arrested 12 illegal migrants. They were caught in the village of Karnare in Karlovo region. They are aged between 16 and 30 and have introduced themselves as Syrian citizens, the police confirmed.

They were transported in a jeep driven by a driver who said he was from Azerbaijan.
