Two men accused of migrant smuggling face prosecutor over deadly shipwreck
Two Syrian men aged 26 and 27 are to face a prosecutor on Tuesday after migrants rescued from a shipwreck that claimed at least three lives off the coast of the southeastern Aegean island of Rhodes told police they had paid the pair to arrange the trip from Turkey to Greece.
Boat with dozens of migrants runs aground off Rhodes, at least three dead [Update]
A wooden sailboat carrying dozens of immigrants ran aground on Monday off the coast of the Greek island of Rhodes and at least three people have drowned, the Greek coast guard said.
More than 90 people were rescued and 30 of those taken to hospital. The boat was totally wrecked, the coasr guard said.
At Least Three Die in Latest Migrant Incident Off Rhodes Island
At least three people died in the latest incident involving migrants crossing the Mediterranean Sea, which occurred on Monday off the Greek island of Rhodes.
According to local media reports, a boat carrying more than 200 migrants hit a reef at Zephyros beach in Rhodes, the Greek Reporter informs.
34 migrants saved off southwestern Turkey
A total of 34 migrants who set sail from Turkey en route to Greece were rescued April 19 after their boat sank off of Turkey's southwestern coast.
Initially, the Turkish Coast Guard rescued three migrants, including a three-year-old child, from a boat that sank off the coast of the southwestern province of Bodrum.

Alternate Immigration Policy Minister Tasia Christodolopoulou told private SKAI TV said that her own walk around the center of Athens did not indicate any particular increase in immigrants in Greece. Seven people, reported to be undocumented migrants, lost their lives and another four are missing when a smuggler's vessel attempting to land them onto Greek territory sunk in Turkish territorial waters.
Nine people were rescued, with authorities referring to Syrian and Iraqi nationals.
Boat sinks in Aegean Sea leaving 6 migrants dead
At least six people have drowned after a boat carrying migrants to a Greek island sank in the Aegean Sea on April 6, Turkish officials have said.
Nine people were also rescued, the governor of the southwestern province of Mu?la, Amir Çiçek, told the Anadolu Agency.
The migrants, believed to be Syrians and Iraqis, were heading to Greece illegally.

Three dead after boat carrying migrants crashes into rocks off Rhodes
Three people have died in Rhodes after a sailing boat carrying migrants from Turkey to the Dodecanese island ran aground.
The Greek Coast Guard said that it rescued 83 people from the water at the Zephyros part of the island, where the vessel crashed against rocks and broke apart.
A man, woman and child were found dead. Authorities did not give further details.
At least five migrants die as boat sinks off southwestern Turkey
At least five people were killed when a boat carrying migrants sank near the southwestern province of Mu?la early on March 17, state hospital sources said.
The vessel was carrying about 15 Syrian and Iraqi migrants when it capsized off the coast of Mu?la's Bodrum district while proceeding toward the Greek island of Kos.
