Israeli business in Piraeus targeted with small explosive device

Police are investigating an attack with a homemade explosive device made of gas canisters at the premises of an Israeli shipping company located in the center of Piraeus early Wednesday morning.

No injuries have been reported, but the explosion caused minor damage to the building.

Arson attack targets houseware store reportedly owned by soccer referee

A homemade explosive device went off outside a houseware store reportedly owned by a Super League soccer referee in the western Athens suburb of Peristeri in the early hours of Thursday.

The explosion damaged its glass panels and caused a small fire which was put out by the fire brigade.

Small explosive device goes off outside Galatsi apartment block

Police are investigating an attack with a homemade explosive device made of gas canisters at the entrance of an apartment building in the Galatsi district of northern Athens early Wednesday morning.

No injuries were reported but the explosion damaged the building's entrance

Explosion damages pastry shop in Pangrati

A homemade bomb attack has been reported at a pastry shop in the central Athens neighborhood of Pangrati in the early hours of Friday. 

Around 2.30 a.m., unknown individuals broke the shop's glass window and threw an explosive device inside, causing material damage to the store, which is located on Pyrronos Street. A vehicle parked next to the shop was also damaged.

Small explosive device goes off outside Kypseli apartment block

Police are investigating an attack with a homemade explosive device made of a plastic container and flammable liquid outside an apartment building in the district of Kypseli, central Athens, early Saturday morning.

The device went off at 5.20 a.m. at the entrance of the building located on Patriarchou Ieremia Street, police said.

Death Toll after Terrorist Attack in Kabul Reached 90

Explosions hit Kabul airport on Thursday, killed some 90 people - among them 13 US military personnel. 

 The US service members killed in the attack included 10 Marines and one Navy medic, news agency AP reported quoting two US officials.

At least 150 people were also wounded in the attack, which the so-called Islamic State group says it was behind.
