New stage in Serbia-NATO relations

BRUSSELS- Serbia entered a new stage of the relations with NATO by enforcement of the Individual Partnership Action Plan (IPAP), Serbian Minister of Foreign Affairs Ivica Dacic and Defence Minister Bratislav Gasic said after the meeting with NATO Secretary General Jens Stoltenberg on Wednesday.

Ministers of defense and foreign affairs Bratislav Gasic and Ivica Dacic will meet with representatives of 28 states, members of NATO. The meeting will be held in March, 28th in Brussels.

Reason for meeting in NATO headquarters is "Individual Partnership Action Plans between Serbia and NATO (IPAP), recently enacted by both sides.

BRUSSELS -- Jens Stoltenberg welcomed on Friday the adoption of the Individual Partnership Action Plan with Serbia, "which improves cooperation between Serbia and NATO."

This is an important step in strengthening dialogue, understanding and cooperation, the western military alliance's secretary-general said in a statement for the media.
