Bulgaria and Norway to Work Together on Joint Projects Related to Western Balkans

Bulgaria and Norway are going to work together on joint projects in the Western Balkans in order to urge young people to stay and develop in their home countries, reported the Bulgarian National Radio.

This was agreed by Bulgarian Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Foreign Affairs Ekaterina Zaharieva and Norwegian Minister of Foreign Affairs Ine Marie Eriksen Søreide.

Brnabic: Goal of reforms to improve quality of life for all

OSLO - On the second day of her visit to Norway, Serbian PM Ana Brnabic met with Norwegian FM Ine Marie Eriksen Soreide, noting that Serbia was exceptionally appreciative of Norway's support for implementation of reforms in Serbia, which she said were aimed at improving the quality of life of all women and men citizens and at accelerating the EU integration process.

Norway Sends Troops to the Border with Russia

Norway has announced plans to send an armored infantry battalion to its arctic border with Russia and buy more tanks and artillery in response to growing threats, according to Reuters.

Scandinavian Defense Minister Ine Marie Eriksen Søreide did not mention Russia as she revealed the government's military plan. She explained that there is no specific military threat at the moment.
