Death toll from Greek fire rises to 81, Irishman confirmed dead
The number of dead from a fire which ripped through a Greek coastal town reached at least 81 on Wednesday as frantic relatives tried to track down people missing from the inferno and officials began the grim task of identifying bodies.
Four arrested for suspected looting in fire-hit settlement
Four people have been arrested for suspected looting in the settlement of Neos Voutzas, east of Athens, which was ravaged by fire.
The suspects, aged between 22 and 26, were arrested by members of the Greek Police's motorcycle-riding DIAS squad after breaking into a home evacuated during the deadly inferno.
The fire has so far claimed the lives of 76 people.
California evacuation orders lifted
Authorities have lifted evacuation orders imposed as the massive Thomas fire scorched swaths of southern California, they said on Dec. 21, as firefighters moved closer to victory over the destructive inferno.

Clouzot's L'Enfer | Athens | July 12
The Bios venue in downtown Athens is screening iconic silent movies, accompanied by music, on its rooftop. On Wednesday, July 12, it will be showing Henri-Georges Clouzot's "L'Enfer" (Inferno), a tale of crazy jealousy inspired by Dante and Proust, which was unfinished when released in 1964 and is shot partly in black-and-white and partly in color. The screening starts at 9.15 p.m.

Istanbul's Basilica Cistern on silver screen with 'Inferno'
Istanbul's Basilica (Yerebatan) Cistern, will be on the silver screen all around the world thanks to the film adaptation of Dan Brown's thriller "Inferno."
The film, which was directed by Ron Howard and premiered in Florence on Oct. 8, will be released in Turkey on Oct. 14.

Felicity Jones to act in Turkey
British actress Felicity Jones, who was nominated for the Best Actress Oscar for her role in "The Theory of Everything," will come to Istanbul. She will star in Ron Howard's adaptation of Dan Brown's latest novel "Inferno" as Sienna Brooks. The film will be shot in Florence and Istanbul.
