In the last 24 hours, 7.893 people were tested, and 2.617.473 since the outbreak of the epidemic.
There are currently 4.088 hospitalized and 143 patients on a respirator.
Since the outbreak of the epidemic, 4.020 people have died, and the death rate in Serbia is 1.02 percent.

New virus infections jump to 941

The number of new infections announced by Greek health authorities jumped to 941 on Friday, from 716 on Thursday, bringing the total number of recorded cases to 155,678.

Seventeen of these new cases were reported at the country's entry points, according to new data from the National Organization for Public Health (EODY).

19 people died, 1.483 newly infected

In the last 24 hours, 9.434 samples were tested, and 2.536.948 since the outbreak of the epidemic.
According to the latest data, 163.355 people were vaccinated.
4/718 were hospitalized, and 165 patients were on respirators.
Since the beginning of the epidemic, 3.868 people have died, bringing the death rate in Serbia to 1.01 percent.

Japan says working to isolate, analyse new virus variant

Japan is working to isolate and analyze a new variant of the coronavirus detected in four people who arrived from Brazil, a health ministry official said on Jan. 12.

Japan announced the detection of the new variant on Sunday, but officials have been at pains to emphasize there is no evidence yet that it is any more transmissible or dangerous than others.
