Türkiye’s digital quality of life improves slightly

Türkiye has improved by two positions in Surfshark's Digital Quality of Life Index regarding digital wellbeing, rising from 54th to 52nd out of 117 countries.

Out of the five fundamental digital life pillars, Türkiye's best is for e-government (39th) and the worst score is for internet quality (ranking 69th globally).

Turkey’s ICT sector grows 36 percent last year

The size of Turkey's information and communication technologies (ICT) market reached 266 billion Turkish Liras ($29.9 billion) in 2021, according to the Informatics Industry Association (TÜBİSAD).

The ICT industry grew by 36 percent last year from 2020, exceeding the initial growth forecast of 10 percent, showed the latest edition of the association's annual report.
