Ukrainian Kramatorsk Shelled After Termination of Ceasefire
Ukrainian military forces have waged a massive artillery fire at east Ukraine’s Donetsk regional city of Kramatorsk overnight to Wednesday.
“A strong gunfire had been waged at the city which was literally showered with shells. Powerful blasts were heard with a frequency like in automatic fire,” a representative of people’s militia told ITAR-TASS.

A Russian journalist has died in Ukraine’s Donetsk Region after being fatally wounded while on assignment.
Russia's Channel One has confirmed the death of its cameraman Anatoly Klyan in a statement published on its website.

Shot Kharkiv Mayor Leaves Hospital, Eager to Resume Work
The mayor of Ukraine's Kharkiv, Gennady Kernes, who was shot and critically wounded on April 28, has been discharged from hospital in Israel.
The information was confirmed by Kernes' doctor Roman Barak, who will fly with him back to Ukraine on Tuesday, ITAR-TASS informed.
Luhansk Militias Shot Down Ukrainian Army Plane – Ukraine's DefMin
Ukraine’s Defence Ministry claims that the militias in Luhansk have shot down Ukraine’s Il-76 military aircraft.
At least 49 people were on board, the CNN reports citing Ukraine’s military sources.
An Il-76 plane which was carrying troops for the purpose of regular rotation was shot down when landing at Luhansk airport on the night from June 13 to 14.
One Dies in Donetsk Republic Leader's Car Bombing
Unidentified persons have bombed the car of Denis Pushilin, the leader of the self-proclaimed Donetsk People's Republic, on Thursday, according to Russian media reports.
"My car has been blown up. There were three persons in the car. Two of them are in critical condition," Pushilin told Itar-Tass. "I haven't been using this car for two days," he added.

Russia Asks UN, OSCE to Investigate Ukraine’s Use of Banned Weapons
Russia has requested the international community to investigate the use of prohibited incendiary bombs in Ukraine.
"We are concerned to hear reports that the Ukrainian military forces use incendiary bombs and some other indiscriminate weapons. These reports should be probed into urgently", Russian Foreign Minister Sergey Lavrov stated, quoted by ITAR-TASS.
Crimea Switches Over to Russian Rouble
Crimea is switching over to the Russian rouble (ruble, RUB) as of June 1.
On May 27, Russian President Vladimir Putin signed a decree which reduced the transition period for the circulation of the hryvnia (UAH) in Crimea and Sevastopol by June 1, 2014, thereby making the rouble the only legitimate currency according to reports of ITAR-TASS.

Russia sends new aid contingent to Serbia
MOSCOW, May 30 (Tanjug) - Russia has sent another 33 tons of relief aid to Serbia, the spokesperson of the Russian Ministry of Emergency Situations Alexander Drobyshevsky said on Friday.
A Russian Ilyushin-76 plane carrying 33 tons of aid for flood-hit regions in Serbia took off for Belgrade early Friday, he said.
