Third patient dies in Zakynthos, waiting for bed in ICU
A third patient who had been waiting for a place in an intensive care unit died in a hospital in Zakynthos, the union of public hospital workers (POEDIN) said on Thursday.
The 67-year-old woman had been waiting for 15 days to be transferred to an ICU but there were no beds available anywhere in the country, the union said.

A man died in the Pathology clinic of a hospital in the Ionian island of Zakynthos on Wednesday while waiting for 10 days for a place to open in an intensive care unit around the country, state-run news agency ANA-MPA reported.

A 4-year-old boy was in critical condition on Friday after falling from the balcony of his family's second-floor home in the Cretan port of Iraklio.
Local police are investigating the circumstances of the fall which left the toddler with serious injuries to his head and chest.

A 95-year-old man who was being treated at the intensive care unit of Thriasio hospital in Elefsina, western Athens, following the deadly wildfires that ravaged Attica last month died Sunday, bringing the confirmed death toll to 91.
His death followed that of an 85 year-old man, who had been hospitalised at Evangelismos hospital.

Burn victim of Attica blaze passes away, death toll rises
A 55-year-old woman who was being treated in the intensive care unit of Athens's Evangelismos hospital for burns suffered in July's deadly blaze passed away on Saturday night.
Her death raises the number of confirmed fatalities to 89.
Nine more victims of the blaze are in intensive care. A child is being treated in Aghia Sofia hospital in stable condition.

Eighty-five wildfire victims identified, one unaccounted for
Greece's fire service said on Wednesday it had identified 85 victims of the wildfire that ravaged the east coast of Attica last week, which left one person still unaccounted for.
The Ministry of Health said earlier that one burn victim was released from Evangelismos hospital on Wednesday and another left the hospital's intensive care unit.
