Overloaded ventilator fire kills five coronavirus patients in Russia: Media
A fire apparently started by an overloaded ventilator killed five novel coronavirus patients in an intensive care unit in a Russian hospital on May 12, news agencies reported.
Russia's emergency ministry confirmed the death of intensive care patients in a hospital in the city of St. Petersburg but did not say how many people had been killed.
New death from Covid-19 reported; total at 152
A new death from Covid-19 was reported in Greece on Monday night after almost two days with no fatalities, bringing the total number to 152.
The victim is an 80-year-old man who was being treated in Sotiria hospital and was suffering from several underlying illnesses.

Second day with no coronavirus deaths, 10 new infections
No deaths caused by Covid-19 were recorded in Greece for the second time in a row, keeping the number of fatalities at 151, according to a press release issued by the Health Ministry on Monday.
Of the dead, 40 were women (26.5 pct) and the rest were men.
Ministry aims for more ICU beds at ESY hospitals
The Health Ministry has appointed a scientific committee to oversee the acquisition of new intensive care unit beds for the National Health System (ESY), with the aim that Greece reaches the European average of 12 beds per 100,000 citizens.

Speaking at the daily briefing, Health Ministry representative Sotiris Tsiodras said no new deaths from Covid-19 were recorded in the past 24 hours (total number remains at 146).

Two more coronavirus deaths confirmed
Greek Health Ministry representative Sotiris Tsiodras on Monday announced two new deaths from the novel coronavirus in the country which raise the total number of fatalities to 146.
He said six new infections have been confirmed in the past 24 hours, bringing the total to 2,632.

Greece's Health Ministry on Friday announced 21 new coronavirus cases in the past 24 hours, raising the total in the country to 2,612.
The death toll remained unchanged at 140. The average age of the dead is 74 years.
