Tsiodras warns against complacency

Coronavirus cases rise to 2,534 as two new deaths reported
Greek Health Ministry spokesman Sotiris Tsiodras on Monday announced 17 new coronavirus infections, bringing the total to 2,534, adding that two more patients have died, pushing the death toll to 136.
Tsiodras added that 43 people are currently being treated in intensive care units after contracting the virus (average age is 67), while 65 have left ICU.
Two more Covid-19 deaths bring toll to 136, reports say
The death toll from the coronavirus rose to 136 on Monday after two patients being treated in hospitals in northern Greece passed away, reports said.
The two victims are an 80-year-old man who was in the intensive care unit of the Papanikolaou hospital in Thessaloniki and a 59-year-old woman in the ICU of Alexandroupoli's university hospital.
Coronavirus deaths at 134; 2,517 confirmed infections
Greek authorities announced Sunday four new fatalities from the coronavirus disease, raising the total to 134.
There were 11 new confirmed infections, with the total standing at 2,517.
The number of people in in intensive care units around the country continued to decline, and is now 46. Sixty-four people have left ICU.
No Covid-19 deaths in Greece in past 24 hours, 16 new cases
Greek Health Ministry representative Sotiris Tsiodras on Saturday announced 16 new cases or coronavirus infections in the country which raise the total number to 2,506.
He said the death toll from Covid-19 remained unchanged, as no new deaths were recorded in the past 24 hours.
Five new deaths, 27 new coronavirus infections confirmed
Greek health authorities announced on Friday 27 new cases of the novel coronavirus, bringing the total nationwide to 2,490.
Another five infected people died in the past 24 hours, Ministry representative Sotiris Tsiodras said in his daily press briefing, pushing the death toll 130.
Coronavirus cases rise to 2,463 with death toll edging up to 125
Greek Health Ministry representative Sotiris Tsiodras on Thursday announced 55 new cases of the coronavirus, bringing the total nationwide to 2,463.
Another four infected people died, Tsiodras said, pushing the death toll 125 (average age 74).
The number of coronavirus patients treated in Intensive Care Units (ICU) stands at 52, he said, adding that 57 people have left ICU.
Coronavirus cases rise to 2,401 with death toll edging up to 121
Greek Health Ministry representative Sotiris Tsiodras on Tuesday announced 156 new cases of the coronavirus, bringing the total nationwide to 2,401.
He said 150 of these cases were registered among the residents of a refugee shelter in Kranidi, in the Peloponnese.
Another five infected people died, Tsiodras said, pushing the death toll 121.
