The Minister of Internal Affairs Valentin Radev hired as a Director of the Sofia Directorate of Internal Affairs (SDIA) the superintendant Ivaylo Ivanov, according to BGNES.

Today he was introduced to the members of SDIA by Mladen Marinov, the Secretary General in MIA. 

The Prime Minister Boyko Borisov signed orders for the appoint of 8 Deputy Ministers. The proposals comes from the Ministers, reported BGNES.

The Bulgarian government proposed to the President to pass a decree with which to hire the Superintendant Mladen Marinov as a Secretary General of Internal Affairs, reported Dnevnik.

Mladen Marinov is a head of the Sofia Directorate of Internal Affairs from July 2014. He graduated from MIA Academy and from the University of National and World Economy as a lawyer.

''I have already chosen the head of Sofia Directorate of the Ministry of Interior Mladen Marinov as Chief Secretary of the Interior Ministry'', said the new Interior Minister Valentin Radev in an interview for bTV.

Serbian and Greek interior ministries will in the coming period "try to increase their cooperation in the fight against all forms of crime."

The interim cabinet decided on Wednesday to ask President Rumen Radev to issue a decree for the dismissal of Kostov.

Caretaker Interior Minister Plamen Uzunov has denied demanding that his institution´s Chief Secretary Georgi Kostov resign.

Earlier, bTV broadcaster said citing its own sources that Uzunov had asked Kostov to step down.
