Bulgaria's Counterterrorism Center to Start Collecting Data on Violent Extremism, Radicalization
A draft decree of Bulgaria's Council of Ministers envisages tasking the National Counterterrorism Center with the collection of data on violent extremism and radicalization.
The document, which envisages changes to the activities of the centre, is being coordinated with the Interior Ministry, according to reports of dnevnik.bg
185 illegal migrants found at train station in south
The police from Nis, in southern Serbia, have discovered 185 migrants in a freight train at the Popovac train station, the Interior Ministry (MUP) has said.
Among them were 137 citizens of Afghanistan, 26 Pakistanis, 19 Syrians, and three Iraqis.

MAI Consultative Council to call on JHA Council for Romania's accession to Schengen
The Ministry of Administration and Interior (MAI) Consultative Council gathered on Tuesday decided to call on the Justice and Home Affairs Council (JHA) for Romania's accession to the Schengen area, as well as to send a letter on the same topic to the other interior ministers in the EU member states, Deputy Prime Minister Gabriel Oprea informed.
Serbia, China cooperation in fight against terrorism, crime
BELGRADE - Deputy Minister of Public Security of China Meng Hongwei met with State Secretary in the Serbian Interior Ministry Aleksandar Nikolic Tuesday to discuss cooperation between the two ministries in the fight against terrorism, drug trafficking, and high-tech and other forms of organized crime, the Serbian Interior Ministry said in a release.
Bulgaria Border Police Chief 'Dismissed'
Milen Penev, who heads the Border Directorate at Bulgaria's Interior Ministry, has been dismissed, media reports suggest.
This was first announced by public broadcaster BNR, though the Ministry of Interior is yet to confirm.
