Croatian Foreign Minister Vesna Pusic on Monday criticised the temporary release of the war-crime suspect and Serbian ultranationalist Vojislav Seselj.

Pusic characterized Seselj as a "lunatic element in the region", adding that she would warn the European Union about his release from prison in The Hague.

BELGRADE - Serbia's Interior Minister Nebojsa Stefanovic met Monday with Chief Prosecutor of the International Criminal Tribunal for the former Yugoslavia Serge Brammertz, who expressed satisfaction about the way the Serbian Interior Ministry (MUP) was fighting organized crime and terrorism.

Hague prosecution won't appeal Šešelj decision

THE HAGUE/BELGRADE - International Criminal Tribunal for the former Yugoslavia (ICTY) Chief Prosecutor Serge Brammertz will be in Belgrade from Monday to Wednesday preparing his next report to the UN Security Council.

Brammertz will meet Serbia's Prime Minister Aleksandar Vucic during his visit and discuss Serbia's cooperation with the ICTY, the tribunal said in a statement.

SARAJEVO - Chief Prosecutor of the International Criminal Tribunal for the former Yugoslavia (ICTY) Serge Brammertz has said that the verditc in Seselj's case cannot be expected before the end of 2015.

Unfortunately, it is a fact that there is no verdict 10 years into the case, he told TV N1, adding that he hoped it would be delivered as soon as possible.
