Roaf: Serbia's economic programme delivering strong results
BELGRADE - Serbia's economic programme continues to deliver strong results and fiscal performance continues to over-perform programme targets, International Monetary Fund (IMF) mission head James Roaf said following a visit to Belgrade.
"Growth picked up to 2.8 pct in 2016, with rising investment, exports, and employment," he said in a statement published on the IMF website.

IMF happy with railway sector reforms - minister

IMF: Stand-by arrangement review due in May, as planned
An International Monetary Fund team has initiated discussions with the Serbian government on the reform program.
Its findings will be announced on March 6, after the conclusion of its visit to Belgrade, Tanjug has been told at the IMF's Washington headquarters.

The IMF has praised "the outstanding results that the Serbian government has achieved in 2016 in all segments of the agreed reforms."
This is especially true of "the domain of fiscal policy," the Serbian government announced on Monday.
