Serbia set to criminalize genocide denial - minister
Denial of genocide and war crimes will become a criminal offense in Serbia.
This will be the case if final judgments reached either by a court in Serbia, or the International Criminal Court (ICC), establish that these acts had taken place.

Justice Minister Nela Kuburovic said Serbia will introduce a law to punish the denial of genocide and war crimes if the offences have been confirmed by the International Criminal Court or Serbian courts.

New Turkish infringement of Greek airspace
On the historic occasion of President Barack Obama’s visit to Greece as part of his last European tour, three violations of Greek airspace sovereignty rules were recorded by Athens FIR (Flight Information Region), and the Turkish fighter aircraft were recognized and intercepted by corresponding fighter planes on the Greek side.

Bulgaria's CEC: No Official Results of Referendum Have Been Announced
In a statement to the media, the Central Election Commission (CEC) has announced that it has not published the official results of the referendum held on Sunday.
The statement was issued after information appeared in the media that the results of the referendum have been manipulated.
Bosnia Awards Iraqi War Crimes Convict €36,600
The Bosnian court awarded Abduladhim Maktouf, an Iraqi fighter convicted of war crimes during the 1992-95 conflict, 36,600 euros in compensation because he was in jail for two years longer than his sentence.

Court starts examining Turkish extradition request
A prosecutor on Thursday began examining Turkey's extradition request for the eight military officers who escaped to the northeastern city of Alexandroupoli seeking asylum a day after the failed coup attempt in the neighboring country in July.

Yugoslav Army Commander Accused of Croatia War Crime
Belgrade’s Humanitarian Law Centre filed a criminal complaint to Serbia’s war crimes prosecution accusing a former Yugoslav People’s Army commander of ordering a deadly attack on the Croatian village of Lovas in 1991.
Another four Turkish officers' asylum claims rejected
Four more asylum requests filed by the eight Turkish soldiers who fled to Greece a day after the failed coup attempt in Turkey in July, were rejected on Tuesday by a court of first instance. One of them has reportedly lodged an appeal.
CoE concerned about reparations to wartime victims

Bulgarian Customs To Become Electronic by 2020
Bulgarian customs are to become fully electronic by 2020 and customs officials are to become a digital administration.
This is envisaged in the strategy E-Customs 2016-2020, proposed by Finance Minister Vladislav Goranov. The document contains a road map of stages and deadlines.
