Turkey's external assets hit $251.4 bln in February
Turkey's external assets hit $251.4 billion as of this February, inching down 0.2 percent from the end of 2019, the Central Bank announced April 20.
The country's liabilities against non-residents also fell 3.3 percent to hit $584.2 billion during the same period.
Turkey's current account posts $1.23 bln deficit in Feb
Turkey's current account balance posted a deficit of nearly $1.23 billion in February, according to official figures released on April 13.
The deficit was $117 million in the same period last year, said the Central Bank.
The bank's balance of payments figures showed the country's 12-month rolling surplus amounted to $6.13 billion.

Services exports hit historic high in 2019
Turkey's services exports reached $53.7 billion in 2019, a new record high, the Turkish trade minister said on Feb. 14.
The services balance posted a $31.5 billion surplus in the same period and contributed to the country's current account balance, Ruhsar Pekcan wrote on Twitter.

Current account deficit, up almost 17 pct in 2019, to 10.48 bln euros
The balance-of-payments current account registered a deficit of 10.478 billion euros last year, an increase of almost 17 pct compared to the similar period of 2018, shows a press release of the National Bank of Romania (BNR) sent to AGERPRES on Thursday. Greek current account deficit shrinks in November
Greece's current account deficit shrank in November compared with the same month last year on the back of an improved balance in the primary income account due to lower net payments for interest and dividends, the Bank of Greece said on Monday.
Central bank data showed the deficit was 1.392 billion euros down from 1.446 billion euros in November 2018.
