The state could have cashed in revenues amounting to three times the takings of the Single Property Tax (ENFIA) every year if Greece's illegal economy had been contained to the average level of developed nations in Europe, financial analysts noted on Monday following an International Monetary Fund working text on the matter.
As long expected, Greece will pay off early its high-interest loans from the IMF.
The date that has been set is 25 November and the amount is 2.8bn euros.

The move was approved by the Board of the ESM and the Governing Board of the IMF.
Greece will have completed its early repayment of loans to the International Monetary fund by early December, Finance Minister Christos Staikouras said on Thursday.
"It will be concluded in the next two to three weeks," Staikouras told a conference in the Greek city of Thessaloniki, referring to the early repayment of loans worth around 2.7 billion euros ($2.98 billion).
The European Bank for Reconstruction and Development (EBRD) has improved its estimates of Romania's economy in 2019 and maintained its 2020 GDP forecast, according to a press statement released on Wednesday by the bank. According to the latest EBRD forecasts, Romania's economy is expected to grow 4pct this year, up from its previous estimates of May 2019's 3.2pct.
