Bulgarian PM Hints At Silent Support for Sanctions on Russia

Veto is not an instrument in the dialogue between leaders of the European Council, Bulgaria's Prime Minister said.

Plamen Oresharski made this comment on Tuesday, shedding some light on his future stance toward the prospect of introducing European-level measures against Russia, the website Dnevnik.bg has reported.

Tweets Hailing NATO's Kosovo War Offend Serbia

A Kosovo government minister and a NATO spokesperson have angered officials in Serbia by posting an image on Twitter on Monday, thanking NATO for its military intervention in Kosovo in 1999.

The air campaign, aimed at driving Serbian forces out of Kosovo, began 15 years ago and ended 78 days later with a Serbian pull-out. Kosovo has since declared independence.

Passenger Trains To Run On Danube Bridge 2 in December 2014

Passenger trains will travel across Danube Bridge 2 as early as December 2014, Bulgaria's deputy Transport Minister Anton Ginev announced.

Freight trains will start running across the bridge in May, Ginev told Bulgaria's Trud Daily. He explained that the new regular train schedule will come into effect in December.
