Israeli disengagement from Gaza

The ground offensive by Israeli forces now covers all parts of Gaza. The authorities ordered a new evacuation to the south, but there are also operations against Hamas, AP and BTA reported.

The fourth group of 23 patients and 21 companions transferred from Gaza has arrived in Ankara for their treatments, Health Minister Fahrettin Koca has announced.

The corridor will be open until 2 p.m.
Israel offers the possibility to leave Gaza City every day from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m.
United Nations observers reported earlier today that more than 20,000 people had left the northern part of Gaza in the previous days.

Türkiye expressed "deep concern" on March 22 over the escalating tension in Jerusalem and the West Bank ahead of Ramadan.

However, the U.S. President has not yet decided whether the withdrawal of the international forces will be prolonged due to the evacuation from the Kabul airport.
Biden is expected to make that decision in the next 24 hours. In Great Britain, however, they doubt that the evacuation will be completed by the set deadline.

Bulgaria's Ministry of Foreign Affairs has helped a Bulgarian family to evacuate from the Gaza Strip. The family asked for help from the Bulgarian diplomatic mission in Ramallah. The evacuation lasted 17 days through an operation organized by Ukraine with the assistance of Egypt.

Shocked social media users mentioned hearing a “loud explosion” amid reports a controlled explosion has been carried out by cops.

I first visited Gaza in 2003, which was only 10 years after the Oslo Accord. The late Ariel Sharon was either about to, or had newly announced his plans for Israel's disengagement from Gaza. It took him a while to convince everybody to take Israeli settlements out of Gaza. Disengagement started in 2005. 

Seven buildings have been evacuated in Istanbul's Üsküdar district after the nearby construction of a metro line allegedly caused cracks to the interior and exterior of the buildings, forcing residents to move into hotels, daily Hürriyet reported on July 28.

Spanish media group Prisa, publisher of the country's most widely-read newspaper El Pais, evacuated its Madrid headquarters on Jan. 7 after receiving a suspect package, a company spokesman said.
