The U.N. voiced grave concern Tuesday over escalating violence in the West Bank, demanding that Israeli security forces "immediately" stop supporting settler attacks on Palestinians in the occupied territory.

Israel's recent approval of plans to construct 3,500 housing units in the occupied West Bank has ignited international criticism, with a Turkish Foreign Ministry spokesperson condemning the move as alarming.

Türkiye has made a plea to the International Court of Justice (ICJ) to hold Israel accountable for what it deems as violations of human rights and international law in the occupied Palestinian territories.

The statements call on Palestinians to leave Gaza.
"I am very disturbed by the statements of senior Israeli officials about plans to transfer civilians from Gaza to third countries," Trk wrote on the social media platform "X".

As he added, the situation is getting worse on almost all fronts.

The Turkish Foreign Ministry issued a strong condemnation on June 26, expressing its deep concern over the Israeli government's recent approval of the construction of approximately 5,700 new residential units in the occupied West Bank.

The Turkish Foreign Ministry has condemned Israeli authorities for their decision to speed up illegal settlement activities and plan new constructions in West Bank.

Israel condemned Norway's decision to label products from Israeli settlements with their place of origin.    

A statement from Israel's foreign ministry said the position "will adversely affect bilateral relations between Israel and Norway, as well as Norway's relevance to promoting relations between Israel and the Palestinians".    

Two Palestinians, one a teenager, were killed in separate incidents in the occupied West Bank on Sunday, hours after police apprehended two Palestinian men suspected of killing three Israelis last week.

Turkey on June 1 slammed Israel's new project to build settler units in the Beit El settlement, near the West Bank city of Ramallah.

The continuing of such provocations while the suffering in Gaza is still fresh shows that the Israeli authorities have not taken any lessons from the incident that took place, said a Foreign Ministry statement.
