3,000-year-old gladiator graves on display in Turkey's Mu?la
A total of 12 gladiator graves uncovered in the western ancient city of Stratonikeia have been put on display at the entrance of the city in the Mu?la province, located in western Turkey.
The head of the Stratonikeia's excavations, Prof. Bilal Sö?üt, told reporters that Stratonikeia was known as the "city of love and gladiators."
Flights, ferries canceled as storms hit Istanbul
Turkish Airlines (THY) canceled at least 72 domestic and international flights due to the heavy storm that took effect in Istanbul starting from late Nov. 20, as inner-city and inter-city ferry lines were also halted.

Ankara Hilton to host 'Oktoberfest' on Nov 20
Ankara Hilton hotel will host the traditional Oktoberfest on Nov. 20 at the Kavakl?dere Hall starting from 7 pm.
Bratwurst, Bretzel and traditional German potato salad will be served at the event with a selection of German cheeses to be washed down with pints of beer. The event will also have the performances of Soul Project and DJ Bülent I??k.

Transportations cards, which many Istanbul residents currently use to travel around the city, will soon also be used as debit cards for everyday purchases, according to a recent Istanbul Metropolitan Municipality (?BB) regulation.

At least three wounded in factory explosion in central Anatolia
At least three workers have been seriously injured in an explosion at a sugar factory in the Central Anatolian province of Yozgat.
Initial reports suggest the explosion occurred where the factory's propellers to release stack gas are located.
Three workers were seriously wounded in the blast and have been transferred to nearby hospitals for treatment.
Enrico Macias charms Istanbul
Legendry French singer Enrico Mascias charmed the audience during a concert at Istanbul's Zorlu Performance Arts Center late on Nov. 18, playing a number of his top hits to the delight of the crowd.
"Every time I come here, it feels like coming to my family," said the 77-year-old of Algerian decent, who had many of his original songs adapted into Turkish pop songs.

Hollywood stars' coach in Istanbul for acting sessions
The International Bosphorus Film Festival, which kicks off Nov. 20, will host Susan Batson, the acting coach of famous movie stars including Tom Cruise, Nicole Kidman, Juliette Binoche and Liv Tyler.
"Last year, Ivana Chubbuck attended our festival. This year we will host another very famous acting coach, Susan Batson," said Ogün ?anl?er, the chairman of the festival.

A wild boar stirred panic in the Anatolian side of Istanbul when it finished swimming in the Bosphorus and ran around chasing local people in the coastal Beykoz neighborhood
