Bozovic appointed Serbia's consul-general in New York
BELGRADE - Former Serbian ambassador to Montenegro Vladimir Bozovic has been appointed Serbia's new consul-general in New York, the Official Gazette of the Republic of Serbia says.
Prior to his ambassadorial tenure in Podgorica, Bozovic also served as state secretary at the Serbian Interior Ministry on two occasions.
Japan to award top accolade to Turkish foreign minister
Japan is set to award Turkey's foreign minister with the "Grand Cordon of the Order of the Rising Sun" for his work in improving bilateral relations between the two countries.
"Government to continue to fight for sovereignty, integrity"
The government will "continue to fight to preserve sovereignty and territorial integrity," First Deputy PM and Foreign Minister Ivica Dacic said on Monday.
Serbia will also remain commitment to EU integration, good neighborly relations, and military neutrality, he said during the marking of Serbian Diplomacy Day in Belgrade.
Relations with Montenegro "better than in past"
Relations between Serbia and Montenegro have considerably improved compared to the previous period, says Serbian Minister of Foreign Affairs Ivica Dacic.
According to him, "both sides would like to be together in the EU someday."
