Athens transport fleet to get 100 new eco-friendly buses
Infrastructure and Transport Minister Christos Staikouras on Tuesday signed a contract for the purchase of 100 compressed natural gas (CNG) articulated buses.
The deal was inked with the head of Iveco Bus' Europe Commercial Operations, Giorgio Zino.
The 18-meter buses will be added to the Athens public transport fleet.

The long-suffering tender for the supply of new buses to renew the aging fleet of the transport companies of Athens and Thessaloniki (OASA and OASTH) is moving forward.

Otokar, IVECO sign production agreement

45 Illegal Migrants Detained on Hemus Highway
About 21:00 hrs on Sunday night, Traffic Police Sofia inspected an Iveco truck driven by a 46-year old man from Vidin.
A total of 45 foreigners were discovered in the cargo section of the truck, reported the Interior ministry. 38 of the detainees showed their IDs. They are citizens of Afghanistan and Pakistan. The remaining 7 claimed they are their compatriots.
