FM sees similarities between Balkan and Korean peninsulas

Maintaining stability is of vital importance for our country, as is a clear orientation of all countries in the region towards a more intensive cooperation.

First Deputy Prime Minister and Foreign Minister Ivica Dacic said this on Tuesday, adding that this was the case "because only in such a region can Serbia have a sustainable development."

"Government to continue to fight for sovereignty, integrity"

The government will "continue to fight to preserve sovereignty and territorial integrity," First Deputy PM and Foreign Minister Ivica Dacic said on Monday.

Serbia will also remain commitment to EU integration, good neighborly relations, and military neutrality, he said during the marking of Serbian Diplomacy Day in Belgrade.

Serbia wants "intensified high-level dialogue" with US

First Deputy PM and Foreign Minister Ivica Dacic met on Wednesday with US Deputy Assistant Secretary of State for European and Eurasian Affairs Hoyt Yee.

The two officials discussed topics related to bilateral cooperation, regional stability, the European path of Serbia, as well as the continuation of the Brussels dialogue, the Serbian government announced.

In an interview for the local weekly Vranjske Toncev warned that the Socialists (SPS) - led by First Deputy PM and Foreign Minister Ivica Dacic - could "disappear from the political scene."
