Heavily armed officers from Bulgaria's organized crime unit discovered a painting that looked like it might be the work of the famous American painter Jackson Pollock during a search in Sofia on February 18. There was a dedication written on the back to the actress Lauren Bacall, as well as a signature in Romanian.

The Bulgarian National Radio provided exclusive photos of the painting of Jackson Pollock discovered by the Main Directorate "Fighting Organized Crime".

A painting by the world-famous artist Jackson Pollock was discovered in Bulgaria during an operation by the Main Directorate "Fighting Organized Crime" and the Greek anti-organized crime services under the coordination of Europol. This was reported by the Bulgarian National Radio from its sources. According to experts, the price of such a painting can reach millions of euros.

When critics apply their denouncements with a palette knife or fling them on canvas like Jackson Pollock, intellectual rigor is often lost in the swirl and splash. Similarly, when the operational matrix is "ready - fire - aim," insufficient attention gets paid to context. In the compulsion to shoot, accuracy is sacrificed.

Cynics who view pricey abstract art and scoff "a kid probably painted that" are finally right.
