BELGRADE - The Indian army destroyed at least four Pakistan's border posts killing up to 20 soldiers, local NDTV TV-channel reported on Sunday.

The incident occurred on Saturday in the Keran sector along the Line of Control, the NDTV TV-channel reported citing the Indian army.

Kashmir has been burning once again since July. Since the murder of 22-year-old Burhan Wani by Indian security forces on July 8, the soul of Kashmir has been up in flames. 

Indian police say security forces are battling a group of gunmen inside a government compound in the Indian-controlled portion of Kashmir.
Police told the Associated Press news agency on Monday that army and paramilitary soldiers cordoned off the compound after gunshots were heard near Pampore town, about 10km outside of Srinagar, capital of Indian Kashmir.

India once again slammed Pakistan on Sunday after a terror attack on an Indian Army base in Kashmir claimed lives of 19 soldiers.

BELGRADE - Islamabad rejects New Delhi's accusations of supporting terrorism groups in India-controlled disputed region of Jammu and Kashmir made after a deadly attack took place there, Sartaj Aziz, adviser to Pakistan's Prime Minister on foreign affairs, said.

Anti-India protesters attacked government forces with rocks and burned an armored vehicle on April 7 as they participated in the funerals of two insurgents killed in a gun battle in the disputed Kashmir region, an Indian official said.

Indian and Pakistani troops intensified firing along their disputed frontier in Kashmir, killing at least eight people and wounding 14, officials said on Aug. 16.

Pakistan has accused India of another breach of their ceasefire in the disputed Kashmir region, after reporting the death of four civilians in earlier cross-border shelling.
