Acclaimed primatologist Dr Jane Goodall will be visiting Thessaloniki, Athens and Crete,on December 9, 10 and 11, respectively, spreading a message of conservation. The 84-year-old British scientist, with countless awards and honorary doctorates under her belt, is traveling around the world delivering lectures on the environmental crisis.

People must "choose wisely" what kind of impact they have on the planet, Dr Jane Goodall tells Kathimerini in an interview about the work being done by the Greek branch of her Roots & Shoots initiative and ahead of her visit to three Greek cities on December 9-11 to spread the message of conservation.

Jane Goodall | Athens | December 15
The Athens Concert Hall welcomes primatologist, anthropologist and UN Messenger of Peace Dr Jane Goodall on Thursday, December 15. Presenting the event is Dr Moisis Mylonas, University of Crete professor and director of Crete's Natural History Museum. The lecture is organized is collaboration with Patakis Publications, the Jane Goodall Institute and the British Council in Athens.
