Bulgaria: A Jeep with Illegal Migrants Crashed near Sofia

A jeep with illegal migrants crashed on the ring road of Sofia, near the village of Mramor.

The incident took place in the morning around 6:30 a.m. There are 15 migrants in total, two of them were injured in the impact, the Sofia Police told the National Television. Their origin is being determined.

Two of the migrants were slightly injured, the jeep crashed alone.

5 Iraqis killed in armed attack in Mardin en route to hospital

An Iraqi group of five people, who were on their way to a private hospital in the southeastern province of Diyarbakır, were killed in an armed attack on early Jan. 19 in the neighboring province of Mardin.

The perpetrators of the armed attack on the jeep, which set off from Iraq's Duhok Governorate, followed the vehicle from the Habur Border Gate, according to the local media.

Mountain Service teams are trying to break through. According to the media, the rescuers of this service set off on special skis towards them.
"We are going by car as far as we can, and the rest by special skis, but we have not arrived yet," they say in the Mountain Service, the media report.

Two Britons dead, one seriously injured in Cretan road accident

Two British nationals died and one was seriously injured in northern Crete early Monday morning when the rented jeep they were in crashed into a parked motorcycle and ended up in a nearby field.
The accident occurred shortly after 6 a.m. at the seaside road of Malia, in the direction of the village of Stalida.
