Bulgaria: Lowest Unemployment Rate Registered in November
The country's recorded unemployment rate in November was 6.7 percent, the lowest recorded since the end of the state of emergency on May 13, 2020, the latest employment agency data show.
Compared to the previous month, the unemployment rate decreased by 0.2 percentage points, but rose by 0.9 percentage points compared to a year earlier (to November 2019).
The Number of Employed People in Bulgaria Exceeds Registered Unemployed in the First 6 Months of 2019
In the first six months of the year, the number of people who started work exceeds the number of those who are registered as unemployed, the Employment Agency reports. For the period, 123,410 unemployed registered in the Labor Offices have started work.
Most Wanted Workers by Sectors and Professions in February in Bulgaria
The number of registered unemployed in the Labor Offices continued to decline and in February and fell to 205,013, down from January with 2.1%. As of February 2018, the number of unemployed is nearly 25,600 less, the Employment Agency reported.
Unemployment in Bulgaria Continues to Decline
The registered trend for decreasing the registered unemployment rate in the country continues in June, and its level is set at 5.7% in the month, the Employment Agency reported.
