Von der Leyen, Brnabic discuss EU growth plan, reforms

BELGRADE - European Commission President Ursula von der Leyen met with Serbian PM Ana Brnabic in Belgrade on Tuesday to discuss an EU growth plan for the Western Balkans.

"I discussed Serbia's reforms in the context of the Growth Plan with the Serbian PM," von der Leyen wrote in a post on the social media network X.

Dacic meets with Iraqi parliament speaker

BELGRADE - Serbian First Deputy PM and FM Ivica Dacic met with Iraqi Parliament Speaker Mohammed Al-Halbousi in Belgrade on Tuesday.

Welcoming Al-Halbousi, Dacic noted the significance Serbia attached to its relations with Iraq, based on traditional friendship, mutual trust and solidarity between the two peoples, the Serbian Ministry of Foreign Affairs said in a statement.

Jovanovic: 99 pct of Serbian households to have high-speed Internet access by end-2025

BELGRADE - Serbian Minister of Information and Telecommunications Mihailo Jovanovic said on Wednesday 99 pct of Serbian households would have high-speed landline Internet access by the end of 2025.
