BELGRADE - Serbian President Tomislav Nikolic held a reception in Belgrade on Saturday to mark the 45th anniversary of the international children's event 'Joy of Europe' and told the children to stay in touch with their new friends and grow to be good adults.

45th 'Joy of Europe' kicks off

BELGRADE -- The children's carnival procession, with participants from 18 European countries marked the opening of the 45th 'Joy of Europe',children's festival in Belgrade.

BELGRADE - Belgrade will become a place of joy and creativity that children from across the globe will share with their peers and adults as part of the event titled "Joy of Europe" from October 2-5.

This year's event will be 45th in a row, and will start off with a carnival, meaning that participants will stage a walk through Belgrade's pedestrian zone.
