CHP vows to break 'Turkey’s ill fate' through building social unity

Turkey has to reconcile in order to heal the wounds of the past and to create a stable future for the next generations, the main opposition leader has said, reiterating his call for making peace between the rival social and political groups in the country, including conservatives, Kurds and religious minorities.

CHP leader says they do not want any more refugees

 

Main opposition Republican People's Party (CHP) leader Kemal Kılıçdaroğlu has said they do not want any more refugees in Turkey and pledged to restore ties with the Syrian regime if his party comes to power

"We don't want more refugees and asylum seekers," Kılıçdaroğlu said on Oct. 26, speaking at the CHP's parliamentary group meeting.
